I've never understood bottles of barbecue sauce in the store...
It's super simple, quick and much more flavorful to create your own from scratch.
Simply bring a can of diced tomatoes, or diced tomatoes with green chilies, to a simmer. Then toss in a couple splashes of Worcestershire sauce. I like a little bit of Tang so I always put in a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Honey or brown sugar or agave nectar work great for sweetening it. I season my basic one with salt, black pepper and chili powder. Then you take an immersion blender to it and puree the heck out of it while sprinkling in cornstarch for thickening... More cornstarch means a more thick sauce more sugar means a sweeter sauce more whatever you add it's literally just pureed tomatoes and something sweet and something savory that's all barbecue sauce is...
