Carb Coma Souptine

I wanted poutine...but...this great adventure happened.

So, I took a bowl out of the cupboard.

On my counter sat four leftover rolls, which needed to either be eaten immediately or thrown. I put all four of them in the bottom of the bowl.

of course any poutine needs fries so I used some seasoned fries and threw them into the Ninja Foodie XL, air fryer lid down at at 400. I set the timer for 15 minutes while I thought about making a gravy. I really didn't feel like making a gravy...

As for the gravy, I opened up and heated up a can of fully loaded baked potato soup. Replacing brown gravy with a can of soup, isn't necessarily the best, but it actually did work out for the best!

  1. In the large mixing bowl, with the four left over biscuits, I dropped in a pile of crisp air fried seasoned french fries , a good handful of shredded parmesan and Romano cheese blend and then poured the chunky potato soup all over the top.

Souptine...yup... Ridiculously easy, filling and tasty bowl. Side effects may include passing out from carb overload.

I would do it again but next time probably add some form of meat...

And perhaps I would only eat half a portion.... Spring is coming!!!

To be honest, I wasn't expecting anything amazing from this particular Adventure. But I have to admit I was extremely satisfied after eating a bowl of this. Imagine biscuits and gravy, but with bonus potatoes and soupy flavor and seasoned french fries. It was definitely a carb bomb! But the biscuit and soup almost perfectly matched one another and then the spicy french fries and Parmesan notes took over the top end. It was very decadent but ridiculously well-rounded comfort food on a cold winter day.
