Air Fried Brussel Sprouts and Frozen Waffle Fries in the Ninja Foodie

Writer's picture: LiveToEatLiveToEat

I just adore this Ninja Foodie XL 8qt air fryer and pressure cooker combo. On days I don't feel like messing up my kitchen, or simple don't have time for prep. For example, I was hungry and wanted something yummy and something healthy... So I grabbed a bag of frozen waffle fries from the freezer and a bag of Brussel sprouts from the refrigerator.

Into the air fryer basket I dumped half the bag of waffle fries. On a cutting board I dumped out the bag of Brussel sprouts and chopped off the ends, while peeling off the outer leaves. After quickly rinsing the brussel sprouts I toss them in the other half of the air fryer basket. I thought about dousing them with a little bit of balsamic, but instead I gave them a spritz with olive oil and then seasoned the brussel sprouts with basic salt and pepper.

Frozen waffle fries usually take about 10 minutes and fresh brussel sprouts take about the same so I figured this would work, and it did.
