After A Few Great Adventures I Spent $30 On 10 New Kitchen Toys

Thoughts from me:

  1. The next time I try to deep fry something, like I did making Samosas, I need a decent mesh skimmer. FAILED to extract one with tongs, in the video, and splashed burning oil all over, resulting in me swearing...in German. Check the post and watch the video, LoL if you feel and fair warning about the single swear word.

  2. I received a comment regarding my lack of measuring cup use. I do tend to "eyeball" quantities and measurements, multiple times, as I somewhat, haphazardly prepare food. Starting today, I can now measure a "Cup" of flour. ;-) to the commenter ;-)

  3. I would like a couple new spatulas. Cuz why not?

  4. I have many mixing bowls, but picked up 2 more.

  5. Why not? A few small Skewers too.

  6. The last item... I'm thinking might be AWESOME... Small, light weight cast iron plates. In the oven for sure, camping & hiking on an open fire, perhaps and with hope, in the Ninja Foodie too! Can cast iron work in an Air Fryer / MultiCooker? Well... we'll see soon enough :) Spring is coming, will these new cast iron rounds work for packing and camp cooking too?

The items arrived in 3 days, well packaged, individually wrapped and were better quality than I expected for the low price points. I have to admit, I like the websturantstore.com's convenience. Although, the cost of shipping is well worth the gas to and back from a local retailer...

~May your food, weather, company, soul and everything be great!
